Foster’s Creative Healing is a growing collective of abolitionists asking the question, what does creation look like as a revolutionary act? Through blueprints set by our ancestors, who used music and movement as a healing practice, we are reminded music holds memory and it can produce sustainable change in our communities. With that knowledge, Foster’s Creative Healing strives to achieve liberation through creation by offering music education, mutual aid, and creative mindfulness practices to children who are survivors of abuse, children who live with survivors of abuse, and Black people of all ages with financial need. We aim to create a safe space for children and families to express themselves, build community and have fun! Freedom and collective liberation is at the forefront of our mission, and we aim to empower others to use their creativity and community connections to empower themselves.

Our holitic singing group workshops and individual classes focus on singing, songwriting, and movement. Using body based voice techniques to help address the needs of indiviuals as a whole person rather than just their voice! Our mutual aid programming is designed to provide community support to those in need. We aim to meet the holstic needs of our community making sure everyone in our community has access to resources and information they need to succeed.
